Executed said strategy by managing a € 8M budget, monitoring timelines, upgrading 9 assembly lines, 4 test benches, and 28 conveyors, condensing capital footprint by 60% and manpower by 28%

Manufacturing Engineer II, September 2011 – September 2013
Conceived and set up a hydraulic valves test bench to increase productivity and automate the test by working jointly with the supplier to the design and installation phases, writing test scripts, decreasing cycle time by 81%, outperforming the Corporation average time by 200%
Designed and implemented hydraulic cylinder assembly and test automated line to eradicate quality defects and automate the test by analyzing process flow with Takt Time bar charts, APQP methodology, on/offsite validation, controlling a budget of €2M, enhancing Pp and Ppk by 400% and 515% respectively

Manufacturing Engineer I, November 2010 – September 2011
Finalized ramp up of deburring machine for hydraulic valve blocks to automate the process by developing and validating the deburring sequencing, resulting in 23% less waste at the quality gate
Conducted hydraulic test bench audit to improve test bench uptime by using DMAIC and learning test bench coding language, increasing output by 250%. Project awarded “Trophy for Innovation” first place out of a 100 projects
Coordinated installation of Automatic Torquing Machine to eradicate loose element defects by programming the routing and creating the process flow, earning zero torque defect certification
